El Trovador, Rosado Robusto
Shown to scale against the longest cigar we stock
The El Trovador Rosado Robusto is a box-pressed cigar created by Abe Flores and handcrafted at PDR Cigars in the Dominican Republic. Inspired by a vintage Cuban cigar called Trovador, it combines an Ecuadorian Rosado wrapper, a dual binder of Nicaraguan and Corojo tobaccos, and a filler made entirely of Nicaraguan Ligero and Viso leaves. The Robusto format highlights the blend's balance while providing about an hour of smoking time. The flavor profile is smooth and refined, revealing notes of cedar, milk chocolate, roasted coffee, nuts, earth and a touch of white pepper. The smoke is rich and creamy with a steady evolution, delivering a medium-bodied experience focused on complexity and elegance rather than sheer strength.
