Robusto cigars

The default modern cigar, and the most common size in almost any shop. Thick enough to show what a blend is doing, short enough to finish in under an hour. If you are unsure where to start, start here.

Dimensions124 × 19.8 mm
Length4.9–5.5 in
Ring gauge48–54
Smoking time45–60 min

A high proportion of filler leaf to wrapper, so the blend's core comes through rather than the wrapper's character. Burns cool and fairly evenly.

For how this size compares with the others, see the guide to cigar sizes.
