Lancero cigars

Long and very slim, and the format most rollers regard as the hardest to make well. Often finished with a twisted pigtail cap rather than a cut one.

Length7.2–7.6 in
Ring gauge36–38
Smoking time60–80 min
Also calledPanetela

The highest wrapper-to-filler ratio of any full-size cigar, so the wrapper dominates. Unforgiving of fast puffing: draw hard and it will burn hot and turn bitter.

For how this size compares with the others, see the guide to cigar sizes.
